Thoughts of anyone?

[20 Apr 2005|10:26am]

The new Limpbizkit single has dropped all over, it has been flooded (leaked would be an understatement) on the Limpbizkit site and i think the viodeo is also on there as well as metalhammer.

Anyones thoughts upon it?

Personally, i think its a little weak as a first single, but very guitar driven rather than bass laden which I associate with LB.

Fuck! [15 Mar 2005|08:24pm]

Since Wes' re-entrance into the limpbizkit fold I had been basicially been waiting for Wes related news via limpbizkit.

How wrong was I ????I had totally forget about the horses mouth, wes borland himself.

Not only is the Danny Lohner stuff going to happen, a lot of it is done. John Freese is in on the project. It will drop very shortly after the new limp album. Check out he news on it, sounds fricking awesome.

Also some direct linkage to a new BDF song, very typical death metal style.

Yikes! [03 Mar 2005|01:55pm]

Has this community died a death or what????

Tiz like no one cares anymore!

So things didnt work out for ways on his Eat the Day project he was unable to find the right person to sing for him after selecting some one from tryouts, apperently the guy was a great singer but just didnt ahve the right someething to front Eath the Day and previously dismissing himself and his bother from taking up singing duties. Wes of course 1st choice for singing wouldd be Maynard from Tool but hes a busy dude and not many people as awesome on vocal of Maynard just kicking about.

Then on his very fruitful scoring partnership with Danny Lohmer called Damning Well he tried to form a hybrid project as his own band with Richard Pitrack singing called Damning the day, eating the well but richard patrick is not an easy man to work with as Wes found out and that also fell apart. But i think the strong friendship with danny might see some more intresting collabarations in the future

then things end up where Wes started on the voyage of his new bands, back in limpbizkit.

Im sure more than a few of you see this as a negative step but i for one are very excited but the input wes is having. A very Wes descion i believe to get Ross Robinson and if u go to the current limpbizkit website u'll hear very dark instrumental music and i think it sounds awesome!

Keep more...lets revive this community!

this is about Eat The Day:

So, how does this band sound?

Wes: To explain it to you is like telling you an inside joke without the punchline. Hard, grooving metal; really progressive with lots of synthesizers; seven-minute-long songs... It's not a tailor-made-for- radio kinda thing.

Greg: We don't write hits.

Wes: And if we do, it's an accident.

It's been pretty dead in here, so I thought I'd post this, even though the news is a few days old. I got it from

Wes Borland needs a mouthpiece before Eat the Day can realize their intentions.

Borland announced via ETD's site ( on Wednesday that the band is accepting applications from prospective singers who think they have what it takes to front the former Limp Bizkit guitarist's new band.

After listening to approximately 100 demos and meeting with five prospects in recent months, Borland and his bandmates felt that no one had the chops to match the quality of the music they had created.

While Limp Bizkit employed a similar national public search to replace Borland, who left the band a year ago (see "Wes Borland: Why He Left Limp Bizkit"), Eat the Day's method doesn't involve a cross-country jaunt. The band asks that hopeful applicants submit demos by emailing files to or sending CDs and tapes to:

Eat the Day
P.O. Box #103
1954 Hillhurst Ave.
Los Feliz, CA 90027

Borland's post said that they're looking for someone dynamic who can sing, not just scream — however, the ability to do so, "bloody murder" style, is encouraged. What they're not looking for is a "nü-metallish type of vibe" or rap, and advise anyone believing to be a master MC not to bother.

"[Rap demos] will immediately be thrown into the garbage," Borland warns, "except for the jewel case, which we will keep."

Although Eat the Day are based in Los Angeles, locals aren't the only ones encouraged to apply. If they think you may have what it takes, they'll make arrangements for you to come to them.

In other Borland news, the guitarist will auction off two of his amp heads on eBay in the next couple of weeks. A pair of Mesa Boogie dual rectifiers that he used as his Limp Bizkit touring rig will soon be posted under the heading "Wes Borland owned Dual Rectifier," he said in a post.

"I think it's kind of cheesy to sell it under my own name," he noted, "but that's really the only way to explain the amount of wear and tear, not to mention all the pyro dust inside them."

did you guy's see this?

Former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland recently lashed out against rumors that he has secretly rejoined with the Bizkit for their upcoming new album. In a posting located here, Borland went on to say:

"Oh yeah, you got me, I've rejoined the band and everything is great. Fred is balls deep in my mouth right now. This has all been an elaborate prank. I'll be right back in Puddle of Bizkit when the new record comes out. I'm going to have the best stage get-up I've ever had before. Wanna know what it is? I'm going to dress up as someone else who doesn't wear stage make-up, looks nothing like me, and plays guitar like crap. It's going to be great and everyone will be fooled. At the end of my career as "someone else playing in a band I don't like", I'll pull off my mask, revealing my true self, pull a pack of Mentos out of my pocket, smile knowingly at the camera, and then get into Heaven for free."

that's hilarious. i love him!

Good Grief [07/01/2002]

We've been absent from the site for a couple of weeks. Our reasons are classified. Sorry we haven't been around to answer questions. We will be starting back up with the interaction as of tonight. -Wes

I know this news is a little old and you've all probably seen it, but I've been on vacation for the past two weeks and I finally saw it a few days ago. It makes me really curious as to what ETD is up to and how far along it is!

Then I saw this when I just went back there right now:

Promises, promises [07/19/2002]

I promise that there will be new big news, more updates, new pics, maybe some video, and a lot to talk about in the next few weeks. -Wes

I'm excited :D
